Our History
1969
The Vickers family set up the business, based in Burley-in-Wharfedale.
1995
The Vickers family set up the business, based in Burley-in-Wharfedale.
2005
The business went through major restructuring and won several awards, including the IMechE business excellence award.
2010
An MBO by three members of the original management took place.
2014
A second facility was obtained to support the growth of the business within the UK and global markets.
2016
To reduce the companies carbon footprint and energy costs, solar panels were fitted at site one.
2019
A third facility was acquired to support the increasing global demand for large volumes of Optomer NVP.
2020
Improved working practices were adopted so the business could continue production in support of the global economy throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
